Paracetemol was administrated orally to rat to cause death. The
degree of fatality increased as the dosage of paracetemol increased.
In the treated group, HERPA-PTM capsule was given orally
concomitantly with the administration paracetemol (400 mg/kg b.w.).
Result showed a significant difference between control and treatment
group in the number of rat survived from paracetemol toxicity.
HERPA-PTM capsule was shown to reduce the number
of death in rat caused by paracetemol toxicity.
